Lisy has always had the curiosity and love for learning about different cultures and languages. After graduating at the University of Szeged as a Philologist in English language, literature and teacher of English she studied and worked in the UK and Malta for four years. In Malta she got her Teaching English As a Foreign Language certificate and used to teach at an international language school. Besides education, she has been working in the field communication, as a freelance journalist and copywriter for almost a decade, writing and translating in English and Hungarian.
Lisy arrived to Australia in 2013, and moved from Brisbane to Melbourne in 2016. She started teaching the Grade 7-10 class in 2017, when her group published the first school magazine of the Bocskai Hungarian School. She has a passion for multilingualism and together with her Maltese partner they are bringing up their daughter as a trilingual. She is also an active member of AMPE and currently working on making the online classroom happen at our school.
