Betti moved to Australia with her family in 2014, and has been living in Melbourne ever since. She started teaching at the Bocskai Hungarian School a year after her arrival. Together with her two daughters, who also attend the school, have been playing a vital role in the life of the school’s community. Betti earned her Teacher Diploma at Eotvos Lorand University in Budapest and worked as a private tutor in Hungary for more than 10 years. She worked as a volunteer in a primary school for two years after arriving in Melbourne, and then furthered her studies and gained her Education Support Certificate III. in 2016 at Best Chance Training.
Teaching is a true passion to Betti. She loves being with children, teaching them and working on projects that lead to a better education for them. In her class (Grade 5-6) she uses a lot of games, which do not only affect the level of fun, but also add to the motivation of the kids. As an active member of AMPE she is also working on the new online classroom project.
